Between July 22 and 26, 2026, the tourist resort of Cheile Grădiștei, in Brașov County, hosts the 2026 European Youth Mountain Bike Championship.

The event brings to the start line the most talented young mountain bike cyclists from across Europe, including Diana Faur, the 2025 European vice-champion in the U15 category.

The competition requires an unprecedented level of mobilization in the history of cycling events in Romania, needing more than 200 volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the races. The event is expected to host approximately 700 athletes aged between 13 and 16.
